GLOBAL VALUE INVESTING, FROM ASIA

My name is Graham Rhodes, and I’m the founder of Longriver Investment Partners (“Longriver”), an independent investment manager based in Hong Kong, the city where I was born and raised. I’ve worked as an analyst, a banker, and now as an investor and business owner.

I run a global equity strategy shaped by my roots in Asia, drawing on local networks and insights that carry across business models and global supply chains. I invest with discipline and focus in a small number of exceptional businesses - typically founder-led, capital-efficient, and capable of compounding over time.

This approach is grounded in the principles of value investing, which I believe remain the best framework for thinking like an owner and managing risk. I always seek a margin of safety, staying within my circle of competence, avoiding speculation, and waiting patiently for great odds.

My aim is to help clients compound their savings and reclaim their time to focus on what matters most, whether that’s family, business, career, or charity. And while our form is corporate, our spirit is one of partnership. I take my fiduciary duties seriously: my own family’s capital is invested here too.
